On Tuesday, June 9, Armco Aquatics had the pleasure of hosting a Delaware State Chamber of Commerce networking breakfast at our Wilmington showroom. From 7:30 to 9:00 AM, we welcomed local business owners and Chamber members for coffee, conversation, and a firsthand look at what we do.
A Morning of Coffee, Muffins, and Connection
Armco Aquatics started back in 1999 as a passionate side project and has grown into a regional leader in custom aquarium design, installation, and maintenance. Hosting this breakfast gave us a chance to share that story in person and connect with other business owners across the Tri-State Area.
Attendees got a full tour of our showroom, seeing firsthand how our team designs and builds the custom aquarium systems we install in homes and offices throughout Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. It was a great opportunity to put faces to the work and answer questions about what goes on behind the scenes of a project.
And we have to give credit where it’s due: the spread of homemade muffins that morning came courtesy of our owner Rich’s mom, and they were, without question, one of the highlights of the event. We couldn’t have pulled off the morning without her.
The Touch Tank Was the Star of the Show
The real showstopper, though, was our marine animal touch experience. One of our expert technicians set up a hands-on station featuring several marine invertebrates, giving attendees the chance to see (and for the brave ones, touch) creatures they don’t normally get to interact with up close. It’s one thing to see a beautifully designed aquarium from across the room, and another to get an up-close look at the animals that make these ecosystems thrive.
Thank You to Everyone Who Joined Us
Events like this are a great reminder of why we love what we do. Getting to share our showroom, our team, and our passion for aquatic life with the local business community made for a memorable morning. Thank you to the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce for organizing the event, and to everyone who came out early on a Tuesday to join us.
If you weren’t able to make it and want to see our showroom for yourself, we’d love to have you visit. Contact Armco Aquatics to schedule a tour!
